How to fix Windows 8 error code 41?

Windows 8 is the new Operating System developed by Microsoft. Although it works well and has amazing features but sometime it generates errors. This error is related with Device Manager. Here is the error message that appears on user screen:

“Windows successfully loaded the device driver for this hardware but cannot find the hardware device”

The error may appear if there is an issue with device driver or after removal of hardware device after the loading of device driver.

How to fix the error?

  1. Sometimes just restarting of computer will solve the problem. It might be possible that error may be caused by some temporary device issue and restarting can solve the issue.
  2. Check if have made any changes in device driver or installed a device? Another reason could be the change that you have made. After undoing the changes restart your PC and again check for error.
  3. The above error may also appears due to corruption of registry value in the registry key. To resolve the error, uninstall and then reinstall the drivers for the device.
  4. Install the latest device driver to fix the error.
  5. A device could also be the reason behind the error so to fix it by replacing the hardware.
  6. If it does not solve the issue then try to install the Windows again.
